Andy is working on a series of comic books. He was taking a break from the second book this morning to watch Scooby Doo. I interrupted his break to ask him to feed the dog.

“I hate it when authors have double jobs! I’m an author, and I still have to feed the stinkin’ dog. I think it’s unacceptable for authors to have other jobs.”

Andy has started a dream journal. Yesterday he drew a picture in it of the previous night’s dream.

This morning he got out of bed and paused to look at the dream journal before going to the bathroom. “I don’t think I had any dreams last night that are suitable for publication,” he said. “I dreamt repeats last night. Sometimes my brain is lazy and I dream repeats.”

Andy has decided that we are opening a hospital in our house.

“Hey Sarah, want to hear our hospital’s slogan? ‘Come get the punch, and come get the cure.’”

Andy: Is Lincoln the most famous president?

Me: Well…

Andy: Because he’s on two things: the penny and the five-dollar bill.

Me: Yeah. Well, he was a very important president.

Andy: What did he do…invent the Watusi?
